Global opportunities

Clyde & Co is a global firm and international experience is an important asset across our workforce.

Training abroad

Alongside our training programmes in the UK, we also offer a number of traineeships to graduates wishing to work in Hong Kong and the Middle East.

International secondments

From the UK, there are also secondment opportunities to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and occasionally to Hong Kong, Piraeus and Singapore during the training contract. Likewise, trainees in Hong Kong may be able to complete a seat in one of our UK offices.

Those who apply for an overseas secondment usually have the opportunity to undertake one during their training contract. Languages are useful, but not essential.

Across jurisdictions

As an international firm working on multi-jurisdictional projects, you may have the opportunity to undertake occasional business trips to other overseas offices and clients, depending on the practice area and the language skills required.

Global future

Prior to qualification, those with specific skills (such as languages) or interest in a particular region will be able to discuss potential international opportunities and career paths. In a firm such as ours, the global nature of our business is central to the way we work.
