Recent work includes:

  • Acting for Britannia Parks on a £30m acquisition
  • Advising on a £33.7m MBO of Windsor plc
  • Advising the Government of Yemen in the establishment of a national oil company and the assumption of operations in a major oil field, including major pipeline and transportation assets, valued at USD 18 billion. This is the largest arbitration in the International Chamber of Commerce
  • Representing Which? in a landmark consumer representative action claim
  • Advising Lamprell PLC, a prominent provider of specialised services to the offshore oil and gas industry, on its AIM flotation (at the time, the third-largest on the AIM market ever) for £229.5m
  • Advising the Government of Yemen in establishing a national oil company and the assumption of operations in a major oil field, including major pipeline and transportation assets, valued at USD 18 billion - the largest arbitration in the International Chamber of Commerce
  • Successfully defending the UK Government against action following the collapse of Railtrack
  • Solicitors to the Advisory Committee following the Buncefield oil depot explosion near Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire
